Scandrett

Scandrett Regional Park, a working farm, is a beautiful spot with beach and numerous short walking tracks.

Choose one of short walks or about one hour long Mullet Point track to enjoy vistas over Kawau and other smaller islands in Kawau Bay. While walking through the paddocks, please leave the gates as you find them as there is cattle in the park.

There’s a number of old farm buildings along the beach, so you can find out how was the land farmed some decades ago. If you’d like to experience real kiwi holiday at the beach, at the end of the beach are baches available for rent.

Another beach great for swimming and fishing, Martins Bay, is accesible by short walk from the entrance to the park.
