Puhoi Riverside Walkway
Easy, dog friendly and not too long walk along Puhoi River. Follow gravel track from carpark, there’s wooden sign ‘Riverside Walkway’ on the right side of the track. Continue past community orchard on the gravel to the paddocks. From there on it’s grassy path all the way to the end, paddocks on one side, river on the other. At the end turn around and come back the same way. There’s picnic tables along the way. Grassy part of the track gets muddy after rain.
