Brick Bay
At the end of Brick Bay drive is small, sheltered beach. Busy mainly during summer months, for the rest of the year you can often be the only visitor. There are picnic tables and toilets.
Short bush walk that starts at the end of the beach goes up to Puriri Place. There you can either carry on to the Horseshoe Bay or walk back (on the road or the same way through bush).
At low tide it’s possible to walk to Snells Beach or to Horseshoe Bay and from there to Sandspit.
Where is it located: From Sandspit turn right to Brick Bay Drive, drive uphill, before Puriri Pl turn right and carry on down to the end of Brick Bay Drive.
Approximate duration: 15 minutes to Puriri Place, 30 minutes to Horseshoe Bay
Dog friendly, in summer (1st December to 1 March) dogs are prohibited from the beach between 10am and 5pm.
