Algies Bay Reserve

Beautiful coastal reserve with picnic tables, playground, boat ramp and toilets. At low tide you can enjoy nice and easy walk along the beach, from one end to another. At high tide, if you turn left from the carpark and carry on to the end of the beach, you can follow track uphill that will take you to Highfield Garden Reserve. If you turn right from the carpark, pleasant walk will take you along the coast. At the end you can go back the same way or walk to the road that goes back to the carpark. Great spot for picnic at beginning of December when pōhutukawas’ are in full bloom.
