Port Albert
Drive through beautiful countryside and step back in time in Port Albert. Once planned to be a settlement called Albertland, dream that quickly vanished when first settlers realised that Wellsford is more favourable option for them. Follow this fascinating story in Albertland Heritage Museum in Wellsford, open Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 3pm and on Sunday 1 to 3pm. Port Albert domain has a lovely grassy reserve with picnic tables, big playground and barbecues. There’s toilets on site. For coffee or snack, visit Port Albert General Store (open Thursday to Sunday).
