Campbells Beach

Adjacent to Baddeleys Beach overlooking Millon Bay is Campbells Beach. Even though literally around the corner, about minute drive away, Campbells Beach is much busier in the summer than its bigger sister. Little muddy at the bottom, but shallow, makes it safe place for kids to swim. At low tide you can walk to Baddeleys Beach along the shore. Picnic tables, playground and toilets are available. Parking under pōhutukawas on the grass.

Where is it located: From Warkworth drive to Matakana, before Matakana Country Park turn right and carry on to Takatu Road, then turn of to Baddeleys Beach Road, next turn left to Clinton Road and after turn right to Campbells Road, which goes straight to the beach.

Approximate duration: about 15 mins

Dog friendly (on leash), in summer (1st December to 1 March) dogs are prohibited from the beach between 10am and 5pm.
