Mahurangi

Mahurangi Regional Park consists of three parts, Mahurangi West, Scott Point (Scotts Landing) and Mahurangi East.

Mahurangi West is located between Puhoi and Warkworth, scenic Mahurangi West Road will take you to Sullivan’s Bay with views of Pudding Island. Most of the tracks are short and won’t take more than 2 or 3 hours. Mita Bay Loop Track offers stunning views over Hauraki Gulf, beach itself is like a little paradise, quiet and pristine. Te Muri Track is accessible only at low tide.

At Scotts Landing you can admire both the historic Scott Homestead, built by Thomas Scott Jr in 1877 and views of Mahurangi West. Lovely beach with pohutukawas and macrocarpas invites for a swim in a summer or stroll along the beach on colder days.
